PI DATE: June 2006 SERVICE TYPE: Preventative Maintenance Visit COVERAGE WINDOW: 7 x 24 * 7 x 24 off-hours service scheduling * Experienced APC Certified Field Service Engineer * Cleaning the system of dust & grime accumulated during normal operation * Inspecttion of site for conditions that might damage the system, such as excessive heat or humidity to make sure the system is housed in an enviroment suitable for optimal functionality * During each Preventive Maintenance visit, APC Certified Field Service Engineers will run tests to verify system is functioning correctly in all operational modes, stopping problems before they start * Replace all parts on the system that expire as a result of normal wear & tear such as air filters and fuses to fans and capacitors * Proactively schedule maintenance visits for issues discovered during Escalation and Corrective Actions process * Ensures the unit is operating with the most recent firmware version * Manages all logistics for this service, from hardware delivery to scheduling technicians
